moving.... it makes it easier to forgive when there is remorse like in this clip... it's harder when they go to the grave denying there was a wrongdoing...
forgiveness is more about freeing ourselves than the offender... handing their shackles back to them and walking away, leaving them in God's hands.
someone once told me, you know you've forgiven when it stops hurting. i disagree - you know you've forgiven when you realize you no longer hold them to account... but the pain may endure for a long, long time.
